Chef Marcus is a seasoned culinary expert specializing in barbeque and homemade meals. With nearly a decade of experience, he is located in Nairobi, Kenya. Chef Marcus is deeply passionate about cooking and promoting healthy eating.

He specializes in helping his clients elevate their culinary skills, creating delicious meals using fresh ingredients, and bringing people together through the joy of good food.

The Problem

The Solution

Even though he had nearly a decade of experience, Chef Marcus did not have a brand built well. He needed to exude the professionalism he shows in the kitchen to strangers and friends alike.

After raising brand awareness, the key objective was to being more clients to engage him in the three offerings we settled on: teaching people to cook good food, cooking good food for people and enabling social events by providing catering during events.

We chose a wordmark for the brand, recognizing that a personal brand isn't built on the superfluous beauty of the identity but the value created by the person. We simplified the brand identity and made it bold in black and yellow.

We applied this to relevant merchandise and built a one-page website for Chef Marcus. The website is bold and striking, professional and inviting. To keep the website fresh, we incorporated the Instagram feed on the website.
